Welcome to Hatred's Audio Wars!

Current Version is Alpha 1.1

Please keep in mind that this game is still in the early stages of development. There are many bugs that need fixing and many features that need adding.

General Gameplay

The goal of Audio wars is to take over the map and eliminate all other players. Each round is seperated into two main phases.

Attack Phase. In the Attack Phase, you select the army in one of your controlled zones and send them to attack an empty zone or an enemy zone. If the zone is empty, you will automatically take control of it. If the zone is controlled by an enemy force, your army will fight against theirs. If you win, you will take control of the zone.

Reinforce Phase. In the Reinforce Phase, you will be given Army points to place in your controlled zones. Army Points are awarded based on your biggest chain of controlled zones. For example, if you control 8 zones that are all connected, you will gain 8 Army Points. If, however, you control 8 zones and 6 are connected while the other 2 are not, you will only gain 6 Army Points. Each zone you control can have up to a maximum of 8 Army Points. If you have more Army Points that you can place, they will be stored for use in future rounds.

Planned Features

1. Sound Effects. Not a high priority but definitely something I want to add.
2. More Maps and more Computer Players. Will be added in after hotkeys are working.
3. Accessible Map Creator. Currently being worked on but is not a top priority at this moment.
4. Multiplayer. Once the single player game is stable and working well I will start work on making the game multiplayer.

Known Bugs
1. NVDA support is very buggy at the moment. It works, but not as well as I would like it to. If you notice an problems with it, please let me know.
2. Currently there are random pauses or holds in the game, generally when using NVDA. I'm working to fix these but it may take a while. If the game seems to be pausing for no reason, try pushing Control. You may be stuck in a message that hasn't realized it's finished.
